NIKE MERCURIAL SUPERFLY

The latest addition to the Nike Mercurial football boot speed range is the new Vapor Superfly.
The Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly is the end result of two years worth of development, innovation and design from Nike. With information feedback and testing from a host of pro players including Cristiano Ronaldo, Pato, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Robinho, the Nike Mercurial Superfly football boot has been on a huge journey from concept to final edition.

The Mercurial Vapor Superfly is the lightest Nike Vapor football boot to date weighing a mere 185 grams (UK Size 8), this enhances the boot design with the addition of Nike's other latest innovation, Flywire technology.

The Nike Vapor Superfly is the first football boot to incorporate Flywire technology, designed to make a football boot stronger without sacrificing weight. The essence of Flywire is to utilise high-strength threads that act like cables on a suspension bridge, which give lots of support precisely where it's needed. This revolutionary football boot is able to adjust to the foots shape, therefore increasing ball feel, comfort and support. The strength of Nike's Flywire technology is created through the specific placement of these threads across the upper of the football boot.

With added feedback from Cristiano Ronaldo himself, Nike has improved the soleplate for this years Mercurial Vapor. An extra stud has been added to the ball area of the foot which is designed to help with deceleration and turning at speed, giving the player more confidence in their football boots when needed to turn on the style. Nike then kept the carbon-fiber sole plate from the Mercurial Vapor SL to again make the Nike Superfly football boot even lighter.

A new design and this striking Orion Blue/Met Silver/Dark Obsidian colour way makes the Nike Mercurial Vapor Superfly football boot stand out from the rest and the firm ground sole plate is best suited to hard and firm ground surfaces.
